چکیده

Abstract The mining industry needs a low-cost and reliable breakage characterization test which can rapidly process large number of samples for geometallurgical modelling. more are tested, the better is understanding ore hardness variability lower design or production risks. proposed solution new testing device, herein named Geopyora, variation roll crusher with an adjustable gap instrumentation to measure forces energy applied rock particles during process. principle utilises controlled degree crushing, absorbed being response rather than input. device capable rocks over wide range sizes accurately measured levels. For ores, results were demonstrated provide outputs that replicate modelling from full JK drop Weight tests. In addition suited drill cores small sample masses, Geopyora provides distribution particle strengths within every sample. This paper introduction concept, development prototype calibration indicate its potential become major player in testing.
